Lindens legacy lives on

Trades have always been an integral part of the NHL and hockey in general. no other sport allows as many transactions to take place during a season as hockey and even though the number of deals these days is significantly less then in years past, the sport still tops the list for amount of trades.

Yet how many people ever really keep track of those deals? Trade a player for a 5th round pick? Who cares obviously the team who got the player won the deal right? Well sometimes, but sometimes the pick becomes the key to the deal.
