Backman and Teufel Do the Mets Shuffle

Last Friday the New York Mets named Tim Teufel manager of their AAA affiliate, the AAA Buffalo Bisons. In 2010 his only season as the Mets Double-A manager, Teufel lead the Mets AA Binghamton team in the Eastern League to a 66-76 record.

Teufel was a member of the 1986 World Series champion Mets and rejoined the organization in 1998 as a scout. His managerial stops in the Mets farm system include Brooklyn (2003), St. Lucie (2004-05 and 2008-09), Savannah (2007) and Binghamton in 2010.
