In 1985, the Eagles were purchased from Leonard Tose by Norman Braman, who instantly became one of the most disliked figures in Philadelphia sports history.

Braman was the opposite of a guy like Dallas owner Jerry Jones. While Jones needs to be constantly involved in every aspect of the game, Braman could care less about the organization. He was only an owner for the money and was much more concerned with his car dealerships than winning football games.
