After struggling a bit on Opening Day, Ian Kennedy was nearly unhittable in the D’Backs 13-2 win in their home opener of the 2011 season. Kennedy scattered six hits over eight innings striking out nine and walking only one batter. The lone run that he gave up was on a sac fly off the bat of Brandon Phillips in the third inning.
