Tiger Woods fell short at the Masters again this year. He finished tied for 4th, at -10 for the tournament, and had chances to win down the stretch on Sunday. The putter failed him, and he just ran out of holes. Charl Schwartzel, as a result, won his first major.
But all of the previous events didn’t happen without the crowd at Augusta, and inevitably the crowd sitting at home, cheering for Tiger. They wanted to see him get back on track with a win, to slide on the green jacket for a fifth time, and fist pump all the way home.
However, after considering some of the extracurricular issues, was it bad for fans to cheer for Tiger at Augusta or in general?
