‘Tis the season of misinformation. With two weeks until the NFL Draft reports are running rampant of top prospects debilitating injuries. First it was Da’Quan Bowers. Now it is Mark Ingram.
The Alabama running back is widely considered the top running back in the draft and potentially a top-15 pick. Ingram underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on August 31, 2010 and missed two games. It appeared throughout the 2010 season that Ingram was not suffering any ill effects of the August surgery. He was not overly used with Saban spelling him with the talented 2012 prospect, Trent Richardson.
