The draft came and went and the Philadelphia Eagles selected 11 players from a total of eight different positions, ranging from running back to kicker.
Most notably, they upgraded significantly on offensive guard, selecting Baylor’s Danny Watkins with the 23rd pick in the first round. They drafted a safety in the second round to potentially replace Quintin Mikell, who is expected to leave via free agency. And they drafted a trio of linebackers in the later rounds, two of whom are expected to make the team and contribute immediately.
Yet the Eagles left a number of lingering questions about the team; positions that can only be filled through free agency, whenever that arrives.
