The Washington Redskins did a great job of sliding back in last months NFL Draft, acquiring additional picks to fill the vast holes on their current roster, but one position of need was not targeted, quarterback. As soon as the current labor impasse is resolved, the Redskins will likely try to trade or simply release veteran QB Donovan McNabb, leaving a need under center.

Some pundits seem to think that the redskins will put Rex Grossman under center since offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has a familiarity with him from their days with the Houston Texans. Grossman is slated to become a free agent. Head coach Mike Shanahan has said that he really has faith in John Beck, another quarterback the Redskins traded for last season.
