Several NFL quarterbacks are rumored to be on the trading block whenever the free agency period finally begins this season, and it appears that you might be able to add yet another name to the roster of signal callers, Green Bay Packers QB Matt Flynn. Flynn, 25, could be appealing to some teams around the NFL.He has spent three seasons with the Packers, seeing limited duty.
Last season, Flynn made his first career start against the New England Patriots and performed quite well. He completed 24 of 37 pass attempts for 251 yards and three touchdowns. The 209th player selected in the 2008 NFL Draft, Flynn is under contract through the 2011 season and will likely be an attractive prospect in free agency.
