FANTASY BASEBALL: INJURY REPORT

FANTASY BASEBALL: INJURY REPORT

Cleveland Indians fans and Fantasy owners have been holding their breath while OF Grady Sizemore (knee) has been sidelined. He is battling a right knee contusion, which is the best part of the news. In case you were wondering, his left knee is the troublesome joint that caused him to need microfracture surgery last season. Right now, he is resting, perhaps mostly as a precaution by the Indians. Manager Manny Acta said over the weekend that he doesn’t feel that this is a 15-day disabled list kind of injury, but it is still uncertain when he’ll be able to return after wrenching the knee on a slide earlier in the week. If you’re in an AL-only Fantasy league, especially one that allows daily moves, it would be a good idea to pluck OF Michael Brantley off the waiver wire if he is still available.
