Getting value in your Fantasy Baseball draft, whether it is snake or auction style, is a necessary achievement to building a championship team. I’m breaking away from the normal format of Tamer’s Tips this week to evaluate the five biggest Fantasy underachievers and overachievers of the 2011 season. The main judging criteria is the average draft position (ADP) of a player this spring compared to how they have performed so far through the season’s first 10-plus weeks. I am using just ADP and not auction price as well for the sake of simplicity but this list can also be compared to auction leagues. In most cases a high ADP means a player also has a high auction price. One other note; I am not including any players that are out for the season (Buster Posey etc.) because it is too obvious that they have underachieved. Enough with the rules, let’s see who has disappointed and pleased Fantasy owners the most as we creep towards the midpoint of the MLB season.
