The NFL Network is reporting at this time that Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning is close to signing a new deal. Manning was quoted in the media as saying he would take less money for his last contract in order to allow the Colts to sign more players on the roster. This wouldn’t be the first time this happened with Manning.
Michael Lombardi is reporting that Manning is going to sign a new 5-year contract for $90 million dollars. Certainly less than he could have demanded, but still a significant amount of money. This illustrates how committed Manning is to returning once again to the Super Bowl
