Rams file complaint with the NFL league office

The St. Louis Rams are expected to file a complaint with the NFL league office regarding the feigned injuries New York Giants players conducted in order to slow down the Rams no-huddle offense. With the Rams driving, inside the Giants 10-yardline, LB Jacquin Williams and S Deon Grant dropped to the ground within seconds of one another in order to get the Giants a timeout in order to regroup their defense. Quite frankly, I’ve seen better acting in middle school plays.

The acting job was caught on a national stage, on Monday Night Football, and the actions of these two players have sparked a debate about the the NFL should do in the case of players engaging in this behavior. There is no doubt that something has to be done in order to curtail this behavior, but the underlying question is how to determine whether or not players are actually hurt.
