Ray Allen is prepared to sit out the entire season

As the NBA announced the indefinite postponement of the opening of training camps and the cancellation of 43 preseason games, Ray Allen made it clear that he is ready to give up much more than that for the good of his union and fellow players.

Allen spoke at his alma mater, the University of Connecticut, on Thursday and said that while a lost season isn't ideal for anyone, it may be necessary for a fair deal to be reached.
