The nemesis of a good weekend of college football, easily trumps a weekend like the Atlantic Coast Conference had two weekends ago. That nemesis resembles ACC football from this weekend when the league went 3-4 in non-conference contests. But it’s not like they were all playing SEC, Big XII, or even Big Ten teams. Losses to Cincinnati, Temple, Southern Miss, and Kansas State have ACC fans rolling their eyes, while the nations outlook transforms from curious to laughable in one weeks time.
The defeats like that are unacceptable.
But, I’ve already heard ACC fans leaning on the edge. We’re back to throwing the conference’s effort on building football to the wayside. I’m with those disgusted by these mind blowing losses, but would you prefer there to be no football at all?
