It May Be Everitt Withers

Remember when Butch Davis was fired and all broke loose with the UNC football program? As Andrew Hogan writes, a portion of the fans are still caught up in the paranoia. It was a messy situation, and it still can be when the school meets with the NCAA infractions committee this month. But some of the concerned behavior has been put to bed.

As the school searches for a new athletic director to replace Dick Badour, there’s a common opinion that the new AD will have a difficult job. Not only will they have to hurdle plenty of possible penalties from the NCAA, but a plenty feel the new director will be fulfilling a search for a new football coach.
