Here are 10 questions the Mets have to answer or attempt to answer as we enter the off season. Alderson did a good job ridding himself of some bad contracts and bringing in some young talent, but most of the young guys will not be major contributors out of the gate if at all in 2012. As a result he must fill needs in free agency or through the trade market to field a competitive team next season.

1. Determine if there is a target who can solidify the number 2 spot in the rotation. This can be done via trade or Free Agency.
