Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber is a lock for the Pro Football Hall of Fame once he decides to retire, and after 15 seasons, his time in the NFL might be coming to an end this week after he hints to reporters that he might not return in 2012. On Sunday, Ronde Barber will set the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all-time game record, by starting his 225th game and it might very well be his last.
Barber has nothing to be ashamed of in his prolific career. 27 sacks, 47 interceptions, nearly 1,200 career tackles, five trips to the Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl ring he can show off to his twin brother, Tiki. But perhaps it is time to hang up the cleats after this season, one which has been a total disappointment for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
