Regardless of how the 2011 regular season ends up for the Dallas Cowboys, one of the first priorities for the club is re-signing free agent WR Laurent Robinson. Despite not starting the season with the Cowboys, Robinson was signed after the Dallas receiving corps suffered some injury issues and he responded in exemplary fashion for Dallas this season.
While assuming the role of the Dallas number three receiver, Robinson was able to fill in during the course of the regular season when the team was without the services of either Dez Bryant or Miles Austin. In his fifth season, Robinson enjoyed a career year. After spending two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and the St. Louis Rams, Robinson recorded 50 receptions for 797 yards and nine scores.
