BCS Championship: Top 5 Reasons to Boycott BCS Title Game Between LSU and Alabama

The BCS Championship Game is set to take place between LSU and Alabama tonight, with the SEC guaranteed its’ sixth consecutive national championship. In fact, since we have had a separate bowl game strictly for the BCS Championship, at least one school from the SEC has represented the conference in all six games. The past five have won the game and been declared national champions, with either LSU or Alabama making it six following tonight’s game.

But outside of those two states, how many people really care?

Between the fact that this is a rematch of a snoozer in November, won by LSU 9-6 in overtime in Alabama, and that college football is the only major sport that does have a playoff system implemented, here are the top 5 reasons to boycott watching the 2012 BCS Championship Game tonight between the Tigers and Crimson Tide.
