Is Dion Phaneuf NHL’s most overrated player?

Back in 2010 TSN published their findings and thoughts on who was the most overrated player in the NHL. Dion Phaneuf made the top 5 at 4%. Now Phaneuf has found himself at the very top of Sports Illustrated most overrated NHL player’s list at a resounding 20%. But why is that? Is Phaneuf’s 2006/07 and 2007/08 performance overshadowing what he is producing today? We know that Phaneuf has not been able to match those two seasons since.
