Jerryd Bayless is one of the hottest adds in fantasy basketball land and with good reason. Over his last 3, he’s posted double digit points while starting at the 2 alongside Jose Calderon. I don’t have a problem with anyone grabbing him but my advice is not to go gaga dropping guys who are getting true starter’s minutes for him. Will Jerryd continue to play the 2 for the time being? Maybe, but only as long as Andrea Bargnani remains out. Can the Raptors continue to play both Calderon and Bayless together at the expense of something called defense? Oh, they don’t need defense, it’s all good. Not. Can DeMar DeRozan continue to play out of position at the 3 or James Johnson at the 4? My Magic 8 ball says, “Not a great idea, Casey” which is obviously a customized Magic 8 ball built specifically to predict stuff for the Toronto Raptors. Got it on eBay. Look, here’s the deal, good peoples, go grab Jerryd in standard leagues and beyond and hope Jose Calderon gets dealt by the deadline. In the meantime, feel free to use him in deep leagues and continue to stream him in standard leagues when opportunity arises. ie. now. We cool, Joe? Ok, then Snoopy, here’s what else I saw in fantasy basketball last night:
