Sports are a wonderful pass time, and people can get so hooked on sports that they can take them a little too far. Such was the case in Bejing.
China’s former deputy of soccer has been sentenced to 10 1/2 years in prison for corruption and match-fixing. Yang Yimin, convicted of taking $200,000 in bribes, was one of 39 people sentenced in a single session by the court in the Northeastern city of Tieling.
