The 2012 NFL free agency period opened on Tuesday night at 4PM EST, and with many teams searching for a quarterback, I find it just a little bit surprising that Green Bay Packers QB Matt Flynn has not been signed yet to a contract. The Packers signal caller which three 6 touchdowns in Week 17 of this season is still unsigned, I find it to be surprising.
Flynn is likely suffering in this season’s free agent market from the hangover that the Arizona Cardinals are suffering over surrendering a huge amount of money for QB Kevin Kolb last season. I might be in the minority, but I believe Flynn is a better quarterback than Kolb and he would fit on three team’s rosters much more adroitly than Kolb did in Arizona last season.
