Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA as we most commonly know it, has been the fastest rising sport in the world for the past 15 years without contest. Mostly propulsed by the brains (and the cash) behind Zuffa/UFC, MMA has altered the way the world looked at combat sports.
A lot of people talk and complaint about how Dana White, the Fertitta Brothers, and UFC are all about making money, but we have to admit; they did what needed to be done when it needed to be done. Dana White, with the help of his longtime well-accomodated buddies, invested in a company that was headed straigth for doom. And let’s not forget, a company dedicated to a sport that was facing the toughest opposition any form of combat sports has ever faced.
