Well, that special time of year is finally here. Now, I know that the season “technically” started last week over in Japan. But with a sport with such pride in its historic traditions, I say that the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics split 2 game series doesn’t count. (Sorry Ichero fans).

Opening game tonight, with the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals playing at the new Fliami Marlins.
