With the 2012 NFL Draft just five days away, there are many players who could be on the trading block as the entire league scrambles for different positions. Some teams are looking to move up and draft a certain player, while others are looking to move down and acquire more selections later on and in the future.
And then there are the teams looking to unload certain headcases for a late round pick, a little bit of cash, or simply to eradicate them from their locker room. That is generally the types of players who are dealt on draft day. Or I should say, draft days, as players could be sent packing any time from a day or so prior to the draft, or on any of the three days the draft takes place this year.
While many of the NFL trade rumors carry little substance to them, there are always a few that seem to have more legs to them then others. After sifting through various rumors, here are the top 5 players I believe who could be traded during the 2012 NFL Draft.
