Chicago Bears Draft Brandon Hardin in Third Round

Chicago Bears Draft Brandon Hardin in Third Round

n the third round with the 79 pick overall the Chicago Bears selected safety Brandon Hardin from Oregon State University.

This is the second straight year the Bears selected a safety in the third round. They picked Chris Conte last season and there is a good chance he might be competing with the rookie for the starting free safety spot.

It also keeps another streak alive. The Bears have known selected a safety in the draft every year since Lovie Smith has become the head coach. Maybe this group of safeties can finally bring an end to the safety carousel.
