This series is all about ifs. If the Rangers play like they did last series… If rookie wunderkind Braden Holtby can continue his hot play for the Caps… If Alexander Ovechkin can remember that his talent can place him in the top five players in the world when he puts forth some effort…

All those ifs amount to jack friggin’ squat. The Rangers have woken up from their first round slumber. If (here we go again) they can remain healthy the Rags will have no problem dispatching the Caps in five.
