Falcons Select Bradie Ewing in the Fifth Round

Much like the pick before this one (Lamar Holmes), this pick came as a bit of a surprise. The Falcons have been talking all off-season about their vertical passing game so it make sense that the first non-lineman picked in the draft is a fullback, right? We didn't think so. Fullback was not on our list of needs for the Falcons as you generally pick up a fullback whenever you want in the draft. That being said, the end of the Ovie Mughelli era is coming soon and a replacement for him was needed..........
