Following the team’s rookie minicamp, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former LSU QB Jordan Jefferson. Despite posting a 24-8 career record with the LSU Tigers, Jefferson went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft. He became one of 14 undrafted free agents the Buccaneers signed following the draft.
Speaking to reporters at the conclusion of this week’s rookie camp, Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano told reporters that he was impressed with Jefferson’s athleticism. “He’s an athletic guy who has a strong arm. We wanted to gauge his development as a quarterback. I thought he made consistent improvement all weekend. There’s a lot of upside there, so I think we would like to have a chance to work with him.”
