Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels has officially been suspended for five games for intentionally throwing at Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper. Hamels drilled Harper in the back in the first inning on Sunday, then admitted after the game that he did so on purpose as a “welcome to the big leagues” kind of thing.
