The commissioner's office has decided to fine Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo for his comments regarding Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels after Hamels admitted to intentionally hitting rookie Bryce Harper in the Phillies' 9-3 victory on Sunday.
"I've never seen a more classless, gutless [expletive] act in my 30 years in baseball," Rizzo said to the Washington Post on Monday. "Cole Hamels says he's old school? He's the polar opposite of old school.
