Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton turned in one of the greatest single-game hitting performances in MLB history, clubbing four home runs and a double in a 10-3 victory against the Baltimore Orioles.
Hamilton homered off Orioles starter Jake Arrieta in the first and third innings. He hit his third off Zach Phillips in the seventh, and finished his night by taking Darren O'Day deep in the eighth. He also added a double in the fifth.
