The Carolina Panthers will open the 2012 regular season on the road, but it now appears they will be practicing on the road leading up to the Week One opener as well. The Panthers have to open their season on the road because of scheduling conflicts at Bank of America Stadium, but those conflicts have led the team to practice on the road as well.
The Panthers home stadium is going to be the site of the Democratic National Convention this season being held September 3-6. Carolina opens the regular season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers have taken advantage of playing in Tampa and will be moving their practices to the nearby famed IMG Academy located in Bradenton, Florida.
