Today is the last day you can vote for two more players in the 2012 MLB All-Star Game Final Vote , with current leaders Yu Darvish in the American League and David Freese in the National League looking to hold on and earn their way to Kansas City on Tuesday. The deadline today is 4 p.m. with special Twitter votes counting for the final four hours before voting closes.
It comes as no surprise that Texas Rangers pitcher Darvish holds a current lead in the A.L. Japanese baseball fans are always extremely supportive of their favorite players in this country, as was evidenced by the number of votes that Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki was used to receiving when he put up numbers that made him worthy. Still, Darvish will hold off Jake Peavy of the Chicago White Sox, as the other three pitchers appear to be too far behind to catch up, barring some miraculous turnaround or Tweet-fest.
