Bold Predictions for Playoff Teams in 2013

This isn't predicting all the NBA standings, just the first eight from each conference. Where does your team rank? Do you think that they will make the playoffs? Find out as we analyze the trades and signings that have happened in the NBA Free Agency period.

Let's start with the Eastern Conference:

8. New York Knicks: The Knicks are a great team, but for some reason, the all-star duo of Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, just isn't working out for them. They also lost a key player in Jeremy Lin, who recently signed with the Rockets. Despite their incredible depth, the Knicks will be in the same spot as last year, not being able to do much in the post season.

7. Philadelphia 76ers: The Sixers have lost a key part in Elton Brand, I don't know why they dumped him just to sign Kwame Brown. They still have a good shot to make the post-season. Usually teams that make eighth place are much better the second season, especially after beating the first cede. Iquadala continues to shine, and he will definitely lead his club somewhere.

6. Milwaukee Bucks: Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings is a great guard combo. Ellis should be the PG. With the new addition of premier defender John Henson, the Bucks should do just fine. And if their backcourt wasn't strong enough, they drafted Lamb in the second round. He's a great guard to play along with Ekpe Udoh.

5. Brooklyn Nets: The Nets have Deron Williams and Joe Johnson. That doesn't sound terribly deadly but wait and see. They are also likely to re-sign high-caliber PF Kris Humphries. The signed Brook Lopez to a huge deal that will keep him around for a while. The Nets are a sure choice to do well this season.
