Sports Illustrated published its ninth official Fortunate 50, which ranks the fifty highest paid professional athletes today.
Topping the list is boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr, but appearing lower on the list is a trio of Philadelphia Phillies players.
Starting pitcher Cliff Lee is ranked 29th, with earnings of $22 million for 2012 ($21.5 million in salary, $500,000 in endorsements).
