The NFL will open all training camps within the upcoming week and fantasy football owners are doing their due diligence currently while putting together their draft boards. The running back position, once a prominent position in the fantasy realm, has become less relevant over the years as teams move away from dedicated backs which carry the ball exclusively and switch to a two-back system, sometimes a three-back scheme as well while running backs become more specialized. Teams are stocking rosters with early down backs, third-down backs and goal line backs. From a fantasy standpoint, this can cause hair-pulling anxiety.
