The Philadelphia Eagles have had great defenses for the majority of head coach Andy Reid‘s tenure in Philadelphia.
Sure, there have been some bumps in the road, such as the two-year period after the death of defensive coordinator Jim Johnson and the departure of future Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins. But the arrival of former Pro Bowl linebacker DeMeco Ryans to an already above average defense should make the Eagles’ defense one of the league’s best in 2012.
