The newest Giants Hunter Pence drove in three runs on a pair of double to lead the Giants to an 8-3 win over the Rockies.
Pence, who had only totaled two hits in his first four games with the Giants, equaled that total today with a screaming double down the left field line in the fifth and a double off the wall in the seventh.
The white-hot Buster Posey collected a pair of singles and an RBI to extend his his hitting streak to eight games. His three-game home run streak came to an end, however.
Marco Scutaro pushed the Giants’ lead to to six in the seventh inning with a one-out double.
