The Philadelphia Eagles had a cornerback problem last season. They had too many good cornerbacks.
Nnamdi Asomugha and Asante Samuel started, while Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie moved to the slot. But DRC struggled in the slot and it became apparent heading into 2012 that the Eagles needed to get rid of one of them.
