The Miami Hurricanes now have the inside track to the ACC Championship Game after finally knocking off the Virginia Tech Hokies for the first time in their last four meetings, as they are tied with the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels with two losses in the Coastal Division of the ACC, although they have one more win in conference play as of now. If Miami wins out, they will play for the ACC Championship, as they would have had to defeat the Virginia Cavaliers and Blue Devils to win their half of the standings. That could put them in line for a rematch with the Florida State Seminoles or a matchup with the Clemson Tigers.
What if that happens? What if the ‘Canes do defeat the Cavs and Blue Devils? Furthermore, what happens if they get lucky and somehow pull off an upset against either the ‘Noles or Tigers? What if the Hurricanes are crowned as ACC Champions and are awarded an invitation to a BCS Bowl? Should they accept?
