The 2012 MLB season concluded with the San Francisco Giants sweeping the Detroit Tigers in four games to win their second World Series in the past three years. Now, the real excitement begins with the start of MLB free agency.
Overall, it is a rather weak free agency class. This year pales in comparison to last year, which saw Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder and Jose Reyes all change teams. While this offseason may see a few big names switch uniforms, it may not be quite as entertaining as last year. With that being said, that is not to say that some of these players will not make a difference in 2013. Here is a look at the top 50 MLB free agents this offseason, as well as my predictions as to where they will sign over the next few months.
