The Philadelphia Eagles will activate defensive tackle Mike Patterson for their week nine game against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Andy Reid told reporters.
Patterson had been suffering from complications following offseason brain surgery that threatened to end his career. It all began in August of 2011, when Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson suffered a seizure. He missed a part of training camp but rebounded to play in 15 of the 16 games that season.
