Jermaine O’Neal expected to return to Phoenix Suns on Friday

Jermaine O'Neal was not with the Suns in Miami on Monday night and is not expected to return to the team until Friday night back in Phoenix. O'Neal had a death in his family and left the Suns to deal with it. With no O'Neal on Monday night against the Heat, Alvin Gentry went with more of a small ball lineup without a true backup center.
