If the NFL rumors are true, then Marty Schottenheimer could soon be returning to the Kansas City Chiefs. The former head coach spent 10 seasons coaching the Chiefs from 1989 – 1998, compiling a record of 101-58-1 in the regular season, as well as racking up seven playoff appearances and a spot in the 1993 AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills, a game in which they lost.
While Schottenheimer was never able to get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl as their head coach, could he come back as the team’s next general manager?
