The NFL season is in it’s second half and already the hot seat is warming up for many of the coaches around the league. Some coaches are on broil while others are starting to feel a warm simmer. A lot can happen in the coming seven weeks but several coaches are clearly feeling the pressure as their seasons are slowly slipping away. Rumors have surfaced that Jon Gruden is quietly assembling a coaching staff, Chip Kelley joining the NFL is ‘inevitable’ and a strange snag in the contract extension for Saints head coach Sean Payton could make him a free agent at the end of the season, have intensified the heat on some coaches.
