When the Green Bay Packers face the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football in a game that both NFC North teams will look to make some noise, albeit under different scenarios, with one heading to the playoffs while the other looks to salvage a disappointing season, Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy said that wide receiver Jordy Nelson will be “hard pressed” to play, following yet another early exit from a game this season with an injury.
McCarthy said that Nelson’s injury “is not a serious issue,” but that he would still be “hard pressed to play this week” when the Packers host the Lions, all while looking to complete quite an impressive turnaround and win the NFC North, as the Chicago Bears have fallen off a bit over the past few weeks.
