The Seattle Mariners signed free-agent outfielder Jason Bay at the 2012 MLB winter meetings. The deal is currently pending a physical but otherwise is ready to go through. Several teams contacted the 34-year-old Bay the past few days including the Mariners, Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians.
